WHY INTERN AT
S.L. WILLIAMSON COMPANY?

"I began working as a summer intern at S.L. Williamson Company in 1999 as a sophomore in high school, and then again in 2004 as a senior in college. While interning, I learned many different skills and what it means to work as a team and how every aspect of the company plays an important role in day-to-day operations. Fast forward 10 years, I returned to S.L. Williamson Company as a full-time employee and worked as an Accounts Payable administrator. In the 9 years I have been employed here, I have grown from an Accounts Payable administrator to currently the head of our HR Department — and last year I became a certified professional. If it wasn't for interning at S.L. Williamson Company, I believe I would not be working in the career I love."

In the filed, I have learned that asphalt is a lot more complex than I ever thought, and you get yet another form of pride in the accomplishment knowing that you are a part of the awesome team that builds the roads that people drive on!"
